Northview waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They had just enough and edged out the Legacy Tigers 9-7.

Beatriz Diaz was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February. Marilyn Sandoval was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Northview's victory bumped their record up to 11-5-1. As for Legacy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-4 record.

Northview has already played their next game, a 10-9 win against South El Monte on the 22nd. As for Legacy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-1 loss against St. Paul on the 22nd.
