Basketball Game Preview: Bangor Vikings vs. Lawrence Tigers

Bangor is 0-7 against Lawrence since February of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The two teams will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bangor is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They took a blow against Hartford, falling 70-38.

Meanwhile, Lawrence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 77-32 loss at the hands of Hartford.

Bangor's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lawrence, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1.

Bangor ended up a good deal behind Lawrence in their previous meeting back in February, losing 62-46. Can Bangor avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
