Basketball Recap: Center Line Comes Up Short

Center Line lost against Notre Dame Prep back in March of 2015, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Center Line Panthers took a 56-41 bruising from the Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish.

When it comes to explaining why Center Line lost, don't look at TE'REZ HOLMES. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten boards. HOLMES has become a key player for Center Line: the team is 17-5 when he posts at least eight rebounds, but 1-2 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of ISAIAH ASHFORD, who posted 11 points.

Center Line's defeat dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Notre Dame Prep, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-11.

Center Line does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Notre Dame Prep, they are taking a road trip to take on Yale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Notre Dame Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Yale likes a good challenge.
