Volleyball Recap: Shippensburg Comes Up Short

Shippensburg lost against Dallastown back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Greyhounds lost 3-0 to the Wildcats. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Shippensburg was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-15, 25-19.

Azula Navarro paced Shippensburg's offense, picking up eight kills. Navarro got some help from Kacie Mentzer and her nine assists. Emma Dyson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Shippensburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Dallastown, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Shippensburg will venture away from home to take on Big Spring at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dallastown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
