Volleyball Recap: Hudsonville Falls Short Against Ranked Rockford + How To Watch

Hudsonville faced Rockford in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Rams. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last seven times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Hudsonville was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Rockford work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 32-30, 22-25, 25-18, 25-23.

Megan Glass paced Hudsonville's offense, picking up 12 kills. Glass got some help from Sofie Sanders and her 25 assists. Finally, Glass was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Izzie Delacher was the offensive standout of the match as she hit 100% for five kills and 12 digs and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 31 games she's played dating back to last season.

Hudsonville's defeat dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Rockford, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-1.
