Basketball Recap: Youngsville Takes a Loss

It was fun while it lasted, but Youngsville's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Friday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 43-42 to the Kane Wolves. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wolves 15-8 in the first quarter.

Tysin Boschert was the offensive standout of the game as he went 7 for 9 on his way to 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brock Wensel, who posted ten points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Youngsville fell to 3-1. As for Kane, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

While Youngsville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
