Westview has gone 8-2 against Rancho Bernardo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. Rancho Bernardo took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Westview, who comes in off a win.

Westview took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top against San Marcos by a score of 3-1.

While Westview might've won, it sure wasn't easy: San Marcos scored at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 19-25, 25-21, 25-22.

Vivian Roberts was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 15 kills.

Meanwhile, Rancho Bernardo lost 3-0 to Torrey Pines on Wednesday. The Broncos haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-11, 25-12.

Westview has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Rancho Bernardo, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Westview took their win against Rancho Bernardo when the teams last played back in August of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
