Mountain House fell victim to Vintage and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crushers. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Mustangs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Luna Lopez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 15 consecutive appearances.

Mountain House's loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Vintage, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
