Basketball Recap: Van Arsdale Takes a Loss

Van Arsdale lost against Transit Tech back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Van Arsdale Cardinals took a blow against the Transit Tech Express, falling 81-42. The match marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Van Arsdale and nudges their season record down to 2-7. As for Transit Tech, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Van Arsdale will take on Midwood at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Transit Tech, they will face off against Robeson Business Tech at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Transit Tech knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Robeson Business Tech likes a good challenge.
