Softball Recap: Memorial Comes Up Short

Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-1 to the Paradise Panthers.

Memorial saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaylynn Messer, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Paradise, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-6-2.

Coming up, Memorial will head out to face off against Cooper at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Mavericks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Paradise, they will be playing at home against Pilot Point at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
