Basketball Game Preview: Eisenhower Tigers vs. Andover Central Jaguars

Eisenhower is 0-10 against Andover Central since February of 2021 but things could change on Saturday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Eisenhower Tigers face off against Andover Central Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. Eisenhower has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

While Eisenhower's victory against Great Bend wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Eisenhower had just enough and edged out Great Bend 62-60. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Andover Central walked away with it. They walked away with a 53-43 victory over the Railroaders on Wednesday. The win was familiar territory for the Jaguars, who have now won four games in a row.

Andover Central's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Eisenhower, their win bumped their record up to 7-14.

Eisenhower couldn't quite finish off Andover Central in their previous meeting last Tuesday and fell 52-49. Can Eisenhower avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
