Basketball Recap: Friday's Loss Ends Forest Park's Winning Streak

It was fun while it lasted, but Forest Park's undefeated season came to an end after six games on Friday. They fell 61-54 to the Frederick Cadets. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Foresters, who until this game were averaging 29.86 points allowed.

When it comes to explaining why Forest Park lost, don't look at MCKENZIE FITZGERALD. Despite the final result, she posted 27 points and four steals. With that strong performance, FITZGERALD is now averaging an impressive 16.5 points per game. KHLOE STEWART was another key player, putting up six points and eight rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Forest Park fell to 6-1. As for Frederick, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.
