Volleyball Recap: Parlier Comes Up Short

Parlier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Chowchilla Tribe, falling 3-0. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Tribe from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-7, 25-10.

Heidi Orellana paced Parlier's offense, picking up two kills. Orellana got some help from Angela Aguilar and her two assists.

April Miller was the offensive standout of the match as she had seven aces and three digs. Those seven aces gave her a new career-high.

Parlier's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Chowchilla, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-10 record this season.

Parlier does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chowchilla, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Hanford West on the 28th.
