Palo Duro has gone a perfect 4-0 against Plainview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Dons will look to defend their home pitch against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Palo Duro will be strutting in after a win while Plainview will be coming in after a defeat.

Palo Duro is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Coronado a 5-0 shutout on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Palo Duro considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Plainview's offense. They lost 5-0 to Lubbock-Cooper on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Plainview can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 659th, while Lubbock-Cooper are ranked 125th).

Plainview's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Palo Duro, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-3-1.

Palo Duro got the 'W' when the teams last played back in February of 2025 against Plainview by a conclusive 7-0 score. Will the Dons repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
