Basketball Recap: Gateway Christian Takes a Loss

Gateway Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a hard 68-49 fall against the Hill Country Christian Rams. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-35 last Saturday.

Gateway Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Hill Country Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gateway Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Heritage Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hill Country Christian, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Austin Classical at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
