Softball Recap: Eagan Comes Up Short

Eagan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eastview Lightning. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Lightning this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-0 loss two weeks ago.

Eagan's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Eastview, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7.

Looking ahead, Eagan will challenge East Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Eastview, they will face off against Rosemount at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
