Volleyball Recap: Northridge Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Northridge came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Wawasee Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-12, 25-14.

Alli Steele paced Northridge's offense, picking up 15 kills. Steele got some help from Izzy Melvin and her 30 assists. Steele was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Northridge's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Wawasee, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-21.

Northridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Concord on the 2nd. As for Wawasee, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Mishawaka on the 2nd.
