Soccer Game Preview: Valley Christian vs. Odyssey Institute

The Valley Christian Trojans will head out to face off against the Odyssey Institute Minotaur at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Valley Christian's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Valley Christian fell victim to Northwest Christian and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Crusaders. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Crusaders are ranked 28th).

Meanwhile, Odyssey Institute also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against ALA - Ironwood on Monday, falling 3-0. The Minotaur have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Odyssey Institute's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Valley Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
