Volleyball Recap: Bristol Eastern Comes Up Short

Bristol Eastern lost against Maloney back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lancers lost 3-0 to the Spartans. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Bristol Eastern was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Maloney work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 27-25, 25-23.

Savannah Drury paced Bristol Eastern's offense, picking up eight kills. Drury got some help from Naseem Hennouch and her 15 assists. Harper Dauphinee controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Bristol Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Maloney, they pushed their record up to 17-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

As of now, neither Bristol Eastern nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
