West Blocton has gone a perfect 3-0 against Homewood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Tigers will challenge the Patriots at 5:00 p.m. West Blocton's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Homewood's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Those four hits gave Letson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Peighton Letson, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple.
Homewood was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Briarwood Christian only posted a batting average of .120.
The victory made it two in a row for Homewood and bumps their season record up to 13-9-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for West Blocton, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.
West Blocton took their victory against Homewood in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 12-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
