Football Recap: Lake Arthur Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Lake Arthur's offense. They had to suffer through a 51-0 loss at the hands of Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy. The game marked the first time this season in which Lake Arthur was not able to get on the board.

Lake Arthur is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-3. As for Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Looking ahead, Lake Arthur will host Welsh at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Greyhounds' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.13 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy, they will take on Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
