Kade Smith Drops League-Best Effort on Friday

Starting off the list is Hutchinson's Kade Smith, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Smith rushed for 205 yards and three touchdowns. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 91-yard run.

For the year, Smith has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 170.6 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 65.43 rushing yards per game.

Derby Gets a Boost from Finley in 51-7 Win

Derby picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Arieus Finley. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 116 rushing yards.

Rounding off our Top Five is Brayden Myovela of Maize. Myovela threw for 166 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 78 yards.
