Basketball Game Preview: Flanagan Falcons vs. McArthur Mustangs + How To Watch

The Flanagan Falcons will head out on the road to square off against the McArthur Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Flanagan has given up an average of 67 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Flanagan is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 66 points on Monday, they were much more limited against Cypress Bay on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Lightning and fell 75-30. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-16.

Flanagan's loss came about despite a quality game from AJ Forges, who posted nine points and five boards. Forges has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 50% every time he's hit the court this season. Adley Pierre also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Meanwhile, McArthur was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap two weeks ago as they fell 53-49 to Nova. The loss put an end to the Mustangs' undefeated start to the season.

Flanagan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for McArthur, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
