Sharyland was the 2-0 winner over Weslaco when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rattlers fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Rattlers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Weslaco got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sati Alonzo out in front who had 14 assists and three digs.

Sharyland's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Weslaco, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Sharyland has already played their next matchup (against Harlingen), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Weslaco, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Vela on the 29th.
