Brookline came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by the Wellesley Raiders to the tune of 62-34. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Raiders are ranked 165th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brookline is also on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Wellesley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Brookline is taking a road trip to square off against Newton North at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wellesley, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Framingham at 6:30 p.m.
