Weiss came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Concordia Lutheran Crusaders. That's more bragging rights for the Wolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16.

Deja Carroll paced Weiss' offense, picking up eight kills. Carroll got some help from Ava Jackson and her 17 assists. Finally, Addison Gottschalk kept Weiss' defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Weiss' victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Concordia Lutheran, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coincidentally, Weiss and Concordia Lutheran will both be playing Cedar Ridge the next time they take the court. The Wolves will head out to face the Raiders at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Crusaders will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
