Football Game Recap: Gig Harbor vs. Shelton

Gig Harbor were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Shelton 50-14. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Gig Harbor's flat performance the contest before.

The win bumped Gig Harbor's record up to 3-4. Shelton are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-7.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Gig Harbor take on Peninsula at 7:00 PM. Peninsula took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Gig Harbor's good fortune. Shelton will take on Yelm at home at 7:00 PM. Shelton stagger into the matchup hobbled by seven consecutive losses while Yelm skip in buoyed by four consecutive wins.
