Northfield kept a clean sheet against Hinkley on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Thunder. Give Northfield's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Their offense was hitting Hinkley from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. McKenna McManis led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Northfield's win bumped their record up to 3-0-3. As for Hinkley, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-3-1.
