There's no place like home for North Tahoe, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons on Wednesday. The Lakers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

In the three sets North Tahoe was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-3, 23-25, 25-15.

Piper Rose paced North Tahoe's offense, picking up seven kills. Rose were helped by Makenna Larkins and Dawna Li, who contributed 11 assists each. Larkins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

When it comes to explaining why Coral Academy of Science - Reno lost, don't look at Lexi Johnson. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs and one block.

North Tahoe's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Coral Academy of Science - Reno, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
