Dixon was handed a five-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They skirted past the Winnebago Indians 1-0. Dixon have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Winnebago, too.

Dixon's one-goal win came courtesy of Kamreon Prather, which was the first he's scored this season.

Dixon is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for Winnebago, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dixon will face off against Byron at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Dixon will need to watch out since Byron have now posted at least four goals in their last three games. As for Winnebago, they will take on Rockford Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Winnebago will be up against Rockford Christian's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
