Basketball Recap: Valle Catholic Warriors vs. Valley Vikings
In what's become a running theme this season, the Valle Catholic Warriors gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 53-20 victory over Valley. That's another feather in the cap for Valle Catholic, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Haylee Moore, who scored eight points.
Valle Catholic's win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13.
Valle Catholic will head out on the road to challenge the Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Eagles at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
