Baseball Game Preview: St. Francis Episcopal Wolves vs. Kinkaid Falcons

The St. Francis Episcopal Wolves are taking a road trip to face off against the Kinkaid Falcons at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.

St. Francis Episcopal is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against St. Joseph on Wednesday. They came up short against the Flyers, falling 14-2.

While Kinkaid didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They never let Dayton get on the board and left with a 7-0 win on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Kinkaid and bumps their season record up to 9-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for St. Francis Episcopal, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
