Baseball Recap: Asheboro Comes Up Short

Asheboro lost against North Davidson last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Blue Comets came up short against the Black Knights, falling 11-1.

Asheboro dropped their record down to 5-11 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for North Davidson, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Asheboro is set to take on their familiar foe Ledford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Davidson will square off against rival Central Davidson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
