Basketball Recap: Glendale Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Glendale won against Muir last Monday with 65 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. The Glendale Nitros walked away with a 65-57 victory over the Hoover Tornados. The win was familiar territory for the Nitros who have now won three matchups in a row.

Glendale's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mason Manalo, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Samontina, who went 5 for 11 en route to 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals.

Glendale's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-9. As for Hoover, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-12.

As of now, neither Glendale nor Hoover have any future games scheduled.
