D'Evelyn's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Wheat Ridge Farmers. The Jaguars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Farmers, too.

D'Evelyn was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 23-25, 25-12, 25-23.

D'Evelyn's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-10. As for Wheat Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.

D'Evelyn and Wheat Ridge could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings. The Jaguars (ranked 231st) will meet Conifer (ranked 84th) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wheat Ridge will square off against Green Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (263 vs. 44).
