Brea Olinda owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They blew past the Vasquez Mustangs 8-0. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by eight runs or more this season.

Brea Olinda has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. Vasquez has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Brea Olinda and Vasquez will both be playing Aliso Niguel the next time they take the field. Vasquez will head out to face Aliso Niguel at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday, while Brea Olinda will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
