Soccer Recap: Moon Valley Comes Up Short

Moon Valley came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Thunderbird Titans, falling 4-0. Moon Valley haven't had much luck with Thunderbird recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Moon Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Thunderbird, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-4-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moon Valley will square off against Paradise Honors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Paradise Honors' defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Moon Valley's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Thunderbird, they will challenge Goldwater at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
