Basketball Recap: Windsor Greyhounds vs. Warsaw Wildcats
Windsor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 64-51 to the Warsaw Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-40 back in December of 2024.
Logan Gemes was his usual excellent self, shooting 57% from the field en route to 29 points and five assists for Warsaw. With that strong performance, Gemes is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Another player making a difference was Garrett Ferguson, who posted 12 points and five assists.
Windsor's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Warsaw, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.
As of now, neither Windsor nor Warsaw have any future games scheduled.
