Basketball Game Preview: Tahoma Bears vs. Stadium Tigers

The Tahoma Bears will head out to challenge the Stadium Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tahoma has four straight victories, Stadium has 17 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Tahoma is headed into the contest having just posted their closest win since December 26, 2024 on Friday. They had just enough and edged Auburn out 57-54.

Meanwhile, Stadium didn't have quite enough to beat Mt. Rainier on Friday and fell 41-39. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rams 16-3 in the first quarter.

Tahoma's victory was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Stadium, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-17.

Everything came up roses for Tahoma against Stadium in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 60-13 win. In that match, Tahoma amassed a halftime lead of 28-4, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
