Ellicott suffers sixth straight loss at home

This season hasn't been kind to the Ellicott Thunderhawks, who are still winless after their 11th game. They were dealt a 66-25 defeat at the hands of Buena Vista on Saturday. Ellicott was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-7.

It was another big night for Kaden Schell, who scored 16 points along with eight steals and five rebounds for Buena Vista. Schell is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Julian Lopez-Olsen was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds.

Ellicott's loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-11. As for Buena Vista, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.
