Volleyball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland was the 3-0 winner over Jordan when they last played one another on September 4th, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell just short of the Beetdiggers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. While the Rams didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Beetdiggers 25-16 in the first set.

Highland took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-16, 26-28, 25-19, 15-13.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Jordan, they pushed their record up to 10-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Highland will take on rival East at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Jordan is set to challenge their familiar foe Park City at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
