Volleyball Recap: Boone Comes Up Short

Boone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Tama County Trojans.

Boone's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for South Tama County, their win bumped their record up to 2-4-1.

Boone has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against West Marshall on the 4th. As for South Tama County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Prairie City-Monroe on the 4th.
