Petaluma hasn't had much luck against Vintage recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Crushers at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Friday, Petaluma made easy work of Justin-Siena and carried off a 16-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Taylor Cook tossed a big game, striking out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March.
At the plate, Petaluma got a massive performance out of Lauren Wilson, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most RBI Wilson has posted since back in March. Scarlett Fannin was another key player, scoring four runs while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Vintage made easy work of American Canyon on Friday and carried off an 8-1 victory. The Crushers haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
Angie Rubalcava was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Rubalcava was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
In other batting news, Abygail Sims was incredible, scoring a run and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Aliyah McDonald, who scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
Vintage's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Petaluma, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.
