On Saturday fans watched as two of the best teams in the nation hit the court. The St. John's Cadets walked away with a 65-57 win over the Bishop O'Connell Knights. This was a revenge game for the Cadets: when they faced off against the Knights back in January, they had to take a 62-57 defeat.

Despite the loss, Bishop O'Connell still got an impressive performance from Matt Dalton, who went 5-for-7 on his way to 16 points and seven boards. Shane Lincoln was another key player, going 5-for-9 en route to 12 points.

St. John's has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season. Bishop O'Connell's loss dropped their record down to 21-9.

As of now, neither St. John's nor Bishop O'Connell have any future games scheduled.
