Basketball Recap: Academy at Palumbo Gets the Win

There's no place like home for Academy at Palumbo, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They escaped with a win on Thursday against Varsity Opponent by the margin of a single free throw, 46-45.

Leading Academy at Palumbo to victory were Julius Pommells and Matthew Brown. Pommells posted 21 points, while Brown had 19 points. The dominant performance gave Pommells a new career-high in points.

Academy at Palumbo has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season.
