Volleyball Recap: Slidell Finds Playoff Glory Versus Archbishop Chapelle

With a playoff win on the line, Slidell rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 20-25, 25-21, 25-16.

Slidell was led to victory by Ava Labat and Ella Kate Spilling. Labat had nine digs and six blocks, while Spilling had 30 digs. Labat has been hot for a while, having also posted 17 or more assists the last 37 times she's played.

Slidell's win bumped their record up to 35-7. As for Archbishop Chapelle, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 28-16.

As of now, neither Slidell nor the Chipmunks have any future games scheduled.
