Basketball Recap: Woodland Comes Up Short

Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 47-38 to the Marion Swamp Foxes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolverines of the 40-27 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2017.

Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Marion, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Woodland nor Marion have any future games scheduled.
