R.A. Long barely beat Woodland the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lumberjacks' pitchers stepped up to hand the Beavers a 6-0 shutout on Wednesday. Considering the Lumberjacks have won five matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

R.A. Long's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Woodland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

R.A. Long will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Beavers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
