 Garces Memorial is 1-9 against Frontier since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Garces Memorial Rams will head out on the road to  face off against  the Frontier Titans at 4:00  p.m. The last four games Garces Memorial has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
 The matchup between Garces Memorial and Liberty  on Thursday hardly resembled the  2-1 effort from their previous meeting. Garces Memorial fell just short of Liberty by a score of  10-9. That's two games in a row now that Garces Memorial has lost by  just one  run.
  Emme Roberts was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kaylynn Killion, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Frontier had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs), and they went ahead and made it ten on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Wolf Pack as they made off with  an  8-1 victory. Frontier might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won eight games by seven  runs or more this season.
  Baden Conley made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits (and not a single walk). Conley has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive pitching appearances. Conley was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Ryleigh Garcia was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.  Emma Parnell was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Garces Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Frontier, they pushed their record up to 14-3 with that  win, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 Garces Memorial might still be hurting after the  13-0 defeat they got from Frontier  when the teams last played  back in March. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of  Frontier's  Taylor Sloss, who   didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched.
