Volleyball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short on the Road Against Northwestern

Springfield kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Northwestern Warriors, falling 3-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

The win got Northwestern back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springfield will square off against Springboro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Wildcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Northwestern, they will take on Kenton Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
